About the Role

We need a solid backend engineer to own and scale our API layer. You will build features used by thousands of active learners across Africa.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Django REST APIs
• Design database schemas and write performant queries
• Write tests and maintain 80%+ code coverage
• Review pull requests and mentor junior devs

Requirements

• 3+ years of Python/Django experience
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge
• Experience with Celery and Redis
• Familiarity with Docker
