About the Role

Codecraftstem is looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you will craft compelling visual assets that communicate our brand story, support our marketing campaigns, and enhance the learning experience for thousands of students across Africa. You will work closely with the product, marketing, and curriculum teams to produce high-quality designs — from course thumbnails and social media graphics to brand identity materials and digital advertising assets. Responsibilities

• Design course thumbnails, banners, and promotional materials for online and offline use
• Create visually engaging social media graphics across LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X, and Facebook
• Develop and maintain brand consistency across all visual touchpoints
• Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to visualise campaign ideas
• Design email templates, newsletters, and digital adverts
• Produce motion graphics and short animated assets for social media
• Support the UI/UX team with icon design, illustrations, and visual components
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Art, or a related field
• 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma
• Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles
• Experience designing for both digital and print media
• A solid portfolio demonstrating a range of design work
• Ability to receive and incorporate constructive feedback
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality output standards

Nice to Have

• Experience with motion graphics tools (After Effects, Lottie)
• Familiarity with designing for EdTech or SaaS platforms
• Video editing skills (Premiere Pro or CapCut)
• Understanding of basic UI/UX design principles
